芝作為已證實的藥品列為仙品。
“試錯科學”的典範
靈芝作為千百年中醫藥文
化的結晶，它是“試錯科
學”的典範，它在現代科學
——“實驗室科學”中尚有
許多問題需要去認識，因
而這種神秘需要一種嶄新
的觀點去認識，這是“實驗
室科學”、“試錯科學”的必
然結果。目前有許多對人
類有益的藥品、保健品，
除靈芝外，沒有一個被幾
千年承認的“久服輕身不
老”的產品。靈芝有上百
種，但幾千年來被承認有這種功效的也只有數種，被
承認的也有優劣之分，而這種優劣未在實踐中真正被
人類所接受，這就產生了用何種方法生產靈芝產品更
加符合人類健康需要的問題。眾所周知的是靈芝含有
許多使人延年益壽的活性物質，靈芝屬於真菌類，真
菌類的生長生化過程中會產生大量的新的活性代謝物
質，而這種過程中一旦轉化為木質化，大量活性物質
就會因自身的木質化而消耗掉，這在科學發展的今天
是可以完全得到證實，以進行性肌營養不良、萎縮性
肌強直及皮膚炎為例：已知患有上述疾病的血清醛縮
㢓會升高，如果用合成的尿嘧啶，尿嘧啶核 則能使
升高的血清醛縮㢓降低，用生物技術生產的靈芝液和
用子實體生產的靈芝液進行上述動物模型實驗，其結
果為：生物技術生產的靈芝液與對照組差異顯著，其

值
<0.01
；而子實體生產的靈芝液則差異不明顯，
P
值
>0.05
。更為重要的是：把生物技術生產的靈芝液通
過離子交換樹脂和大孔吸附樹脂等方法去除靈芝中的
尿嘧啶和尿嘧啶核

理由認為，生物技術
生產的靈芝液在其生
長生化過程中大量的
活性物質得到了保
存，從而提高了靈芝
的藥效。
未成為普及人類的
“仙品”
由於靈芝木質化後許多物質形成了較大的聚合物（由菌
類到木質化的結構變化充分說明這一點），而較大的聚
合物不容易被人體所吸收，或不能進入血腦屏障，以
用標記的胸腺嘧啶核 及標記的亮氨酸做前體和靈芝
多糖（子實體靈芝提取）先後注射到小鼠體內，第二天
取小鼠血清、肝臟、骨髓、腦等器官檢查，結果腦部
DNA
、
RNA
、蛋白質的放射性強度對照差異不明顯，
而其他器官差異明顯。實驗室說明被神秘化的靈芝需
要一個客觀的、科學的認識過程，利用現代生物技術
生產的靈芝產品，其活性物質得到了最大的保存和利
用，這與人的機體吸收和利用是成正比的。
THE CULTURE AND SCIENCE OF LING-ZHI
As ling-zhi being a medicinal/food mushroom has been hailed from ancient times to be a herb of the fairies. According to Shen
Nong's Compendium of Materia Medica, out of 365 types of herbs, ling-zhi ranked one of the highest, above ginseng. It is good
for the internal qi, good looks, longevity; it sooths the mental power, nourishes the liver. The Canon of Compendium of Materia
Medica described it as, "Continual taking prevents aging, conducive to delight". In ancient times, only the rare wild ling-zhi was
available and highly held by Emperors, the well educated and the folks alike, for its near supernatural powers. With artificial
cultivation in the 1950's, popularity increased and scientific understanding accumulated, albeit "diversions" from the main theme
was unavoidable. In dermatomysitis patients, their blood aldolase is elevated - in animals, the lowering by uracil worked better
with ling-zhi substrates produced with biotechnology than that from daughter products; probably, the active ingredient could be
better preserved by biotechnology methods, enhancing effectiveness. Though complex, pursuing biotechnology for ling-zhi is
worthwhile.
