To avoid inappropriate use
of sleeping pills, note relevant
psychological factors:

insomnia paradoxically stimu-

Insomnia, if occasional, re-
quires just self psychological
regulation; if lasting for 3 weeks,
e.g., from an immense psycho-
logical blow or serious illness,
may r e q u i r e a c l i n i c a l
psychologist's help. Chronic in-
somnia due to psychological
pressure is like migraine - as a
habitual mode is already
adopted to face stress, seek
help from your doctor or clini-
cal psychologist. Although a
simple and effective remedy,
sleeping pills are liable to be
misused, e.g., even Mao Dun,

ing 3-4 types of sleeping pills
each night; upon waking up,

preferred; taking sleeping pills

and a craving for more - a
deadly "vicious cycle"!
