CONVULSIVE
DISORDERS
IN
CHILDREN?
Convulsive phenomena are com-
mon symptoms in children and are ac-
companied
by
various serious disorders
of the central nerve
system.
Seizure
are discussed
in
the present paper ac-
cordingto
1)
theiretiology;
2)
their
clinical manifestations:
and
3)
their
management.
Patients
with
seizure
should
be at
lirst carefully evaluated
for
its possible causes and then be
prop-
erly
treated.
With appropriate manage-
ment which includes treating individual
convulsive seizure with antipyretics and
acupuncture with on
top
of continuous
therapy of the epileptic child, most pa-
tients can be expected cured.
