"SAVE OUR EARTH: TAKE LESS MEAT": WHO OFFICIALS ADVOCATE VEGETARIAN DIET
The WHO advocated in 2008 to take less meat: vegetarian diet at least for 1 day a week - ruminants such as cows have gas in
the gut are constantly bloating and passing flatus: methane gas so produced leads to green house effect of global warming.
Theoretically, vegetarian diets help to reduce this. In the UK, 1/6 favour vegetarian diet; Chelsea Clinton is a strict vegetarian; the
William Sisters: champion tennis players, are vegetarian but with top physique; Carl Lewis, the Olympic Gold Medalist, is also a
strict vegetarian; in ancient China, fasting was advocated throughout the ages with obvious benefits. Avoid taking vegetarian
diets too abruptly: may feel faint. Internationally, there are: (1) Complete vegetarians (2) Incomplete vegetarians, taking eggs and
milk as well (3) "New Vegetarian Movement", taking supplements of milk products, eggs, fish and small amounts of chicken - the
preference of dietitians. As vitamin B1, B6, B12, panthothenic acid and bran acids from plants can stimulate our brain cells into
activity, vegetarians may be wiser. For potency, take more leeks, water melon, apple, walnut, cashew nuts etc.
