HOW
TO CARE
FOR
YOUR SKIN?
As
the
autumn
air is
dry,
better skin
care is
required
to
prevent coarse
or
spotted
skin,
let alone after the exposure
to
the summer sun:
(1)
According
to
the skin type,
choose
the
appropriate
skin lotion,
e.9.,
avoid using alcoholic lotions
on
dry skin
(2)
Wash the face
twice
a day;
use appropriate
skin-
care creams; avoid sun
expo-
sure
or
use creams
with
"sun
screen";
in
the evening,
wash
again
(3)
Remove
dead
skin
regularly: daily
and
weekly
(4)
Weekly skin care:
cleaning,
steaming, massaging and
use
of
soft
facial
mask (5)
A
well-
balanced
diet with plenty
of
vegetables,
fruits,
fish,
poultry,
lean pork;
refrain
from smoking
and drinking; avoid
concen-
trated tea or coffee or
oily
food.
For keeping moisture:
(1)
Creams with Vaseline
are
not
soluble
in water
-
stick well
to
the
skin
without
being
absorbed;
only good for dry skin
(2) Cosmetics containing
sub-
stances
like glycerin
are
suit-
able
in
humid
weather,
otherwise, they
may absorb
moisture even from the skin
(3)
Water affinity subslances,
e.9.,
collagen forms
a
net
to
trap
water
(4) Repair of
the
"cutin"
layer of the skin, e.9.,
by
vita-
mins
