up 36.8%; far exceeded
China's economic growth of

there
is
a
lot
of
room
to
expand
-
it
is
only

Americans;
1/12 ol
Japanese.
There
is
obviously an increasing
desire
for better
health
and quality of
life.
The
increase comes
naturally with
the
increase in health education notions.
Even
the concept of medical care changes: hospitals
should manage
serious
diseases;
dispensaries,
minor ailments
and
health
food
is
for
healthy subjects.
Dis-
eases
that
used
to
occur among
the rich is
now commonplace.
China's population
is also
aging
rapidly, let
alone
the
modern trend for a single kid, the demand for health food would naturally increase
for
various
diseases of
the elderly
and
also
how best
to
nourish
the single
kid. ln
this
modern world,
stress
is unavoid-
able and accounts anywhere from an
average
of
10-20%
to a high
of
50%
of workers;those with "chronic
fatigue syndrome" would naturally seek health food for
relief. Moreover,
for ladies, any products bringing
back
or preserving their youthfulness would be
in
very great
demand.
Apart from achieving better quality
control, current work should include raising the average standards
of
production; making use
of
modern
hi-tech in manufacturing and

assist selected smaller enterprises.
