in pig
and
chicken
feeds
in
research
to improve their immune function.
On
the
whole, immunomodulatory
Chinese herbs
can be
tested
whether
they
can
protect chicken from
infection.
Scientists
have
shown
a
general
depletion of total
T:-cells
and
cytotoxic T CD8 T-cells in
chicken
infected
with
HrN,.
Thus
TCM,
which
can
help to raise the
cytotoxic
CD8 cells,
should
help to improve
the
survival of
the livestocks.
