HEALTH
AND LONGEVITY
ln this busy modern world, many
of
us
have
lorgotten
how
to
be
still.
When we are
still, the
breathing
is
slowed down and oxygen consumption,
reduced; even
the secretion
of
the
ad-
renal glands
are
much reduced
-
all
these changes are beneficial
to
the
body.
Fishing
is
also a great help for
us
to re-learn how to
be
still
-
the environ-
ment is peaceful,
the
body
can
relax
well,
the heart beat
is
reduced
and even
the
blood
pressure
is
at
its lowest.
Apart
from fishing, take time
to
recollect
your
sweet memories. Think
of
the fun when
young; the frustration
of
the first
love,
the
sweetness
of
the first kiss, the
sound
of
the
waves,
the singing
of
the
birds,
the picturesque scenery, the mystery
ol the
universe, the brightness of the
star,
the tenderness of the moon
and
the
malesty of
the
mountains
and
you
would feel much
better.
Above all,
do
not forget physical exercises.
Daily
walking
may be
the
best exercise for
the
heart,
lungs
and
even
the
eyes, espe-
cially
for
the
elderly.
The equivalent
of
walking
for
at least half-an-hour may
be
accumulated throughout the
day. ln

way, you

longevity.
