ASPIRIN
Among
all
popular used drugs,
perhaps Aspirin (acetylsalicylic acid)
is
the
most common
and
cheap sub-
stance
known to
effectively control pain,
lever
and
inflammation.
ln adequate
dose (2-4 g per day)
it
is the drug of
choice for the above
purpose.
ln addi-
tion, small dose of Aspirin
is
also the
drug
of
choice
for
preventing
from
thrombosis.
All
its
therapeutic effect is
responsible with the inhibition of
syn-
thesis
of
the
hormone
of
prostaglanding.
Aspirin is effective and so
popularly
used as an substance
for
pain control,
no matter how cheap it
is.
Thus, Aspi-
rin is
considered
a
drug's
king
without
crown.
Most
interestingly,
it has been
reported
that
in
a
small dose Aspirin
may have a preventive etfect on can-
cer development.
