Manager Tao Yanping: Century-old Li Tung Fung Clinic
The Li Tung Fung Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) Clinic originated from a stall in 1922 in Wuxi for dispensing TCM herbs for
treating opium addition. With good business, it became a formal TCM dispensing shop and even had branch shops. The popularity was
achieved through painstaking attention to the quality control of herbal preparations. Throughout the years, the good quality not only
applied to medicinal preparations but also to the service. Despite the pouring in of Western medicine and expertise, the Company still
florish without fail... The Clinic has now got all the “bests” in environmental set ups, clinical expertise, pharmaceutical preparations
and service: not only healing the sick but also preventing disease. In the recent 2 years, about a dozen talks had been organized:
attempting the ideal of dispensing healthcare knowledge, not just disease treatments. Having top TCM physicians in the country, the
Clinic is achieving the best in clinical and academic aspects. For the future, the TCM Clinic must also try to breakthrough the present
stereotype mode of TCM; in fact, a full-fledged TCM Hospital is now actively being planned…
