Viruses: Ruthless Killer vs Vaccination: Effective Weapon
Viruses are: (1) particles of RNA or DNA: often much smaller than bacteria; enters cells: as a parasite, multiply rapidly by copying itself
(2) Prone to mutation (3) Having numerous varieties (4) Unlike bacteria being killed by antibiotics: it’s mainly interferon that can halt
their reproduction to allow our body immunity to kill the virus (5) Able to adopt latency. We have ironically been facilitating viral spread
through environmental disruption; contact with wild animals (harboring specific viruses, e.g., AIDS virus); poor public health measures
(financial strains); global travel; needle and medical instrument transmissions and ignorance. Viral infections are best prevented by
vaccination: WHO endorses its necessity, safety, e.g., on diphtheria, tetanus and whooping cough; polio, measles, mumps, German
measles: all have proven efficacy despite vaccinated closely with one another: no untoward reactions occur. Although flu is deadlier
than World War I, millions are being saved by viral vaccination: untoward effects are not realistic: thimerosal is a safe preservative;
autism is not really related to vaccination. In fact, without vaccination, we have very much worse adverse effects, e.g., German measles
may lead to inborn defects in the newborn; hepatitis, to liver cancer; measles, fatality, etc.
