DIETS ACCELERATING AGING
A UK nutritionists Sally Beare advises us to avoid diets that may accelerate aging with her “blacklist”. Coffee is a stimulant; its
relationship with degenerative diseases has been getting closer and closer, e.g., it impairs pancreatic function; raise blood isomeric
cysteine and triglycerides. Salt raises blood pressure, retains body fluids, e.g., at the ankles; Gerson homeopathic therapy forbids
any salt intake. Excessive sugar from cakes, desserts, candies, drinks, etc., are bad for those with obesity and diabetes. Kids’ diet
must be scrutinized for excessive sugar, as is often the case. The classical diet that accelerates aging is fast food, e.g., hamburgers,
French fries and sodas or milk shakes. Such a high-fat, high salt diet makes our arteries atherosclerotic – take less of such “junk
food”. A little drinking, especially red wine, boosts our circulation,; spirits make us age. Medications, especially long-term, e.g.,
aspirin or Brufen, may harm our stomach. Heavy metals, e.g., aluminum from pottery, may cause Alzheimer’s disease. Some cling
wraps have plasticisers that can migrate into food, e.g., cheese and meat and cause cancer. Lastly, refrain from smoking!
