On Nutrition & Immunity: Dr Jau-Fei Chen
Dr Jau-Fei Chen, a visionary US scientist with numerous international awards including the prestigious Martin De La Cruz Award,
focusses on the science of nutritional immunology in disease prevention and control. Our thymus is a training camp for mature
soldiers ; the tonsils also partake in our immunity: avoid excising them lightly; the spleen produces antibodies; lymph nodes, filter
out debris for destruction; even our appendix also partakes in immunity of the lower abdomen: avoid excising it lightly. She believes
immunity is an answer for the Super Bug : bacterial (including tuberculosis) resistance; also, the “kiss of death” for cancer cells by
cytotoxic T lymphocytes overrides chemotherapy. As our health deteriorates gradually, do take good care. It requires 100 mistakes
in us to produce the first cancer cell. Take various whole plants, e.g., veggie and fruits but less meat; have an open, peaceful mind;
avoid stress, anger and tension; have moderately slow physical exercises slow running and exercises: competitive sports and severe
exercises are harmful; have adequate sleep around 7 hours a day for best immunity restoration. Live up to 120 years
