Appropriate Colors Condition Your Feelings & Enhance Your Mood
Red colors are warm, but, blue colors are cool; colors may make us excited, eg, red and orange or make us cool, eg, blue and green;
affect our concept of space, eg, spacious: bright or light colors; narrow: dark colors; may give a feeling of progression, eg, bright
colors; regression, eg, dark colors. Red color has a dual role reminding us of precious blood and useful fire; yet, an accidental
bleeding or a blaze or an explosion may well be disastrous; in real life, it signifies excitement and happiness. As the orange color gives
a solemn, honorable and mysterious feeling, religious bodies use it for clothing color: a color with a psychological tinge; in modern
life: also used for signature objects and advertisements. The yellow color has long been used historically by emperors and traditionally
by religious bodies for clothing, furniture, palaces and temples, with a feeling of loftiness, solemnness, honor, mystery, wisdom, and
kindness. The green color of nature signifies peace and life; also represents agriculture, forestry and animal husbandry trades. As the
sky is blue, the blue color signifies eternity, grandeur and remoteness; gives an impression of being cool. Purple is beautiful: signifies
loftiness, superiority and elegance. Used appropriately, various colors enable a better life!
