Mr Wang Yung-Ching’s Health Establishments boast a comprehensive center for the health of the white collars with comprehensive
exercise facilities and even diet, e.g., the healthy salad bar is akin to a healthy diet laboratory. Another even larger center for 3,600
elderly residents >60 complete with sports center, health club, swimming pool, tennis courts, ping pong tables, piano, and even
farmlands, conference hall, religious and hospital facilities, etc., is truly value for money and suits even the very active elderly. Mr
Wang buys simplicity: no greediness nor adulteration. He said, “Hard work is good for health”, as undue comfort is never healthy. For
mental health, he buys full utilization of one’s intelligence: the more one exercises the brain, the smarter one becomes. The Chang
Gung Medical Journal for various biomedical research, is now renamed, “Biomedical Journal”: a full-fledged and indexed international
medical journal. Working conscientiously with revaluation at the end of the day, Mr Wang was inspired by his father’s most unfortunate
death incident: missing a life-saving operation for lacked of funds required upon hospital admission. Thus, his Chang Gung Memorial
Hospitals and Medical School all commemorate his father: affordability is his most highly respectable aim!
