Biological science brings hope to
human life. Average human life
has
reached 80 years today after two sig-
nif
icant prolongations
since
18'h
century, when average
life
was only 30
years.
This enormous leap
is
achieved
with the
development
of
biological
science.
The decoding
of
genes
is
making it possible for a third
break-
through to extend
human life
to
100
years.
The development
of
biological
science vitalizes the human society, but
it can also be
threats.
Appropriate de-
velopment and utilization
of
the
scien-
tific achievements are called
for
to ben-
etit
mankind.
The
UNICEF,
WHO
are
expected to establish monitoring sys-
tems and constitute international
con-
ventions
in order to prevent any abuse
of
the science such as biological weap-
ons
that
is hazardous
to
mankind.
