for
thousands of years: invigorating men's
vigor and body

longevlty after prolonged medication.
Researchers
in
Japan had
been
working
on
the
Zhi
fungi and developed
an
anti-cancer drug called
PSK.
Professor
Yang
Qing-yao was able to
select
the best strains
of Yun
Zhi
to
extract the protein bound
polysaccharide
called
PSP
which
is
superior to PSK.
The manufacturing of PSP
has to
meet
intemational standards.
ln
several
years,
Professor Yang
and
his
col-
leagues
were
able
to produce a
State
grade drug PSP which
is
also
a
non-toxic
high
class
health food that
would reduce
disease causing forces and enhance
positive forces.
Medically the application
values of
PSP
include
(1) increasing
the
quality
of
life
ol cancer patients,
(2)
detoxifying
chemo-
and
radiotherapies,
(3)
enciancing
immunity and reducing sec-
ondary infection, (4) alleviation of pain,
(5) improving appetite
of
cancer patients,
(6) reducing
the
risk
of getting cancer.
ln the
future
more patients with
\rarious cancers will be
favoured by PSP
treatment. Other diseases such
as
chronic rheumatism, diabetes,
nephdtis,
and those diflicult
diseases
that
are
related to
the
immune system would
probably
be
treated by PSP as well.
