Psychology

is a "probe on

As
psychology has
a
very close
relation-
ship
with
human
life,
it
would also
affect our health and vice
versa.
The
psychologically sound are optimistic,
have
self-respect and confidence, feels
secure,
mixes
well with people,
has
definite objectives and reacts appropri-
ately;
the
psychologically unsound are
depressed
or very tense,
have
no
appetite nor drive, are
abnormally
suspicious
or
jealous,
have depressed
immunity and liable
to
get
sick.
"Psychologically imbalance" refers
to
difficulty
to
adapt
to the
community.
"Psychosis" refers
to
abnormal
behaviour
that
may harm
the
commu-
nity.
"Psychomotor diseases" reler to
hypertension, asthma, hyperventilation,
stomach ulcers, anorexia
nervosa,
vomiting, itchiness,
etc.

these
ailments may
be
caused
by
psychologi-
cal disturbances. Factors relevant
to
psychological disturbance are: genetic
predisposition, circumstantial
or
physical etfects and even
cultural
background.

pays
to
recognize
and
understand scientilically
the
mental
changes ol the human mind and under-
stand
the
importance of mental health.
