Viral
myocarditis
is a common
disease. 90%
of patients
have
various
arrhythmia, with premature
ventricular
complexes
(PVCs)
in
70%
of
cases.
Three
months after myocardial infection, although
the
lesion
has
been improved significantly, arrhythmia
may
persist
for
a
longer time.
Several years
later,
PVCs
may
relapse tempor-
arily induced
by
fatigue,
common
cold,
stress
or
excitement,
but
will not
effect work or
quality of life.
Therefore, no
specialtherapy
is indicated.
While in severe case, the
prognosis
is
rather
poor,
be-
cause
more serious arrhythmia may induce sudden death or recur-
rent
heart
failure.
Some
of
them
may
turn
to
dilated
cardiomyopathy,
and need
energetic treatment.
