Mr.
W.
H.
Chou was awarded by
Suzhou
College
of
Medicine
the
honorary
title
of
"Visiting Professor
of Pharmacology". Dr.
T.
K.
Ann,
Mr. H.C.
Tang,
Mr. H.Y.
Tang,
Mr.
H.T. Liu and other Hong
Kong
entrepreneurs had
participated in
this
grand ceremony.
On
the award ceremony, Professor
He
Shou Chun, the Deputy Dean
of
Suzhou College
of
Medicine, announced the decision
of
the
academic
committee:
Mr.
W.H. Chou devoted himself to medicine and health
care
business
in
recent
years.
The academic committee,
after
serious
consideration
of
his
achievements, awarded him the
title
of
"Visiting
Professor
of
Pharmacology"
for
his
untiring effects
made
on
the
study
of
traditional Chinese medicine,
his
own
point
of
view
and
his
attainments
on
the
pharmacology of
Chinese medicine.
Mr.
W.H. Chou
expressed
his
gratitude and
was
modest
about
his
achievements and addressed
that
he
wished to
be
a
good
"postman"
so that
he could deliver the latest
information
about the
advances
in
medicine
in
Hong Kong
and all over the
world
to the
specialists
in
China
and at
the same
time, he could deliver the
Chinese
medicines, which had been proved to
be
effective in prevention and
treatment
of
cancer,
cardiovascular diseases,
diabetes mellitus and prostate disorders,
to
the specialists and patients all
over
the
world.

also
offered
Mr.
W.H. Chou their congratulations.
After
the
ceremony,
Professor
W.H. Chou
gave
a
lecture
on
"From
treatment to prevention
of
cancer"
to
over
200
specialists, professors,
scholars, doctors and post-graduate students
in both the
Chinese and
western medical fields from Beijing,
Jiangsu
and Suzhou.
Professor
Yang
Qing
Yao
of
Shanghai
Teachers University, the inventor
of
Polysaccharide Peptide (PSP); Dr. Cheung Hung Mau, senior researcher
of
the
Chinese Medicine Research Centre, Chinese University
of
Hong
Kong;
Dr. Shiu Cho
Tak, chairman
of
oncology
of
Prince
of
Wales
Hospital,
Chinese University, had also attended the lecture and introduced their
own
results on medical studies.
